Fairtrade Fortnight 2025

From 22nd September until 5th October, 2025, Fairtrade groups across the country will be showcasing the benefits of Fairtrade and encouraging us all to “Do it Fair!” Everywhere people will be celebrating the difference we can make when we choose Fairtrade and campaign as part of a UK wide movement calling for fairer systems behind the things we consume every day.

Every time you choose Fairtrade, you are acting in solidarity with farmers who grow your food. Fairtrade means producers receive a fairer price, can afford to feed their families, send their children to school, and cover their farming costs.

Over three decades, 10 million people – farmers, workers and their families – have been guaranteed a fair wage and thanks to the extra Social Premium, built healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities, with improved choice and better life chances through access to healthcare and education. They have responded to climate crises by investing in better farming practices

Within the UK there are hundreds of Fairtrade groups and Inverness Fairtrade is one such organisation which aims to highlight how Fairtrade supports farmers in the global south while ensuring we can access fairly the tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate and many other products we so enjoy.
