Fairtrade Inverness is the operating name of the Inverness Fairtrade Group, which is a registered charity (SC040778), established for the following purposes.

  • To promote Fairtrade in the city
  • To support local businesses to stock and sell Fairtrade products

Timeline photosAt Fairtrade, we want people to care about human rights and the environment. 🌎

This is why we have launched the Risk Map. A tool to help make global trade safer and fairer for everyone.

The Risk Map covers the root causes behind human rights and environmental risks in commodities and countries where Fairtrade works. It’s been a collaborative effort with input from farmer cooperatives, workers and plantation management, Fairtrade staff from six continents, and external experts.

Currently the Risk Map covers coffee, cocoa, bananas, wine grapes and honey. And it will be expanded to more products in the coming months!

Visit the new interactive Risk Map to learn more about major risks in food production and how Fairtrade is working to tackle them: riskmap.fairtrade.net/
