Fairtrade Inverness: Raising awareness & supporting Fairtrade in Inverness

Fairtrade Inverness is the operating name of the Inverness Fairtrade Group, which is a registered charity (SC040778), established for the following purposes.

  • To promote Fairtrade in the city
  • To support local businesses to stock and sell Fairtrade products
  • To maintain Inverness’ Fairtrade City status

We do this by organising events, publishing promotional materials, and encouraging volunteering.

“Let’s stop talking about gender justice only as a moral imperative: it’s a strategic necessity to unlock sustainable development, more resilient communities and create a fair world for all.”

👉 We do not only agree with these powerful words by Leida Rijnhout, but actively drive this forward through our global network of Fair Trade Enterprises . By embracing the Fair Trade business model, that puts people and the planet at the centre of business, we can collectively transform the economic landscape! Gender justice is a strategic necessity!
